COMMUNITY FEEDBACK

Comments and suggestions from library users are appreciated and help the System to provide the most relevant services within each library's community. Presently, there several avenues to provide feedback:

Attend a Library board meeting.
All 23 Boards of Trustees meet periodically throughout the year. Board meetings are open to the public. Call your local library to find out when their Board next meets. The B&ECPL Board meets monthly (usually on the third Thursday of the month) at the Central Library, and a portion of each meeting is devoted to public comment. The meeting schedule is located at: http://www.buffalolib.org/aboutthelibrary/board/schedule.asp.

Attend a public hearing concerning a Library issue.
Periodically as issues arise, the B&ECPL Board of Trustees conducts public hearings to solicit comment on a pertinent issue. Recent hearings have involved the Library's Strategic Plan, recent budget crisis, Internet access policies and proposal to build a new library in South Buffalo to replace the Cazenovia and Dudley libraries. Notice of hearings are provided to the local media and are featured on the Library's website.

Send written comments.
Submit your feedback online through the Library's email reference service, Contact Us, or through the mail to the attention of:
