THE LOOKIE BOOKIE
WILL CEASE OPERATIONS
AS OF OCTOBER 14, 2005.
The last day to borrow materials and pick-up request items will be Friday, September 16th.
- Consult with Lookie Bookie staff to change your pick-up location for requested material to another library.
Returns and payment of fines/fees will be available through the last day of service.
Please continue to visit B&ECPL locations for all of your information and entertainment needs.
Thank you for your support, patronage and cooperation during this difficult transition.
Mobile library service to Erie County began in 1948. Through
its bookmobiles, each of which holds approximately 3,500
volumes and can accommodate as many as 35 visitors at a time, the Mobile
Services Division brings services and resources to patrons who do not
have convenient access to a library building. Mobile Libraries cover
all of Erie County, serving as a gateway to the B&ECPL.
Materials borrowed at Mobile Library stops or any other library
facility may be returned to any Mobile Library stop or library outlet.
Mobile Library patrons may place requests for materials to be delivered
on a future visit.
Contact (716) 858-7158 for more information on Mobile Libraries.
