The right side of the web page contains links to main areas of the website including the catalog, databases, my account, reference desk, and kids corner.

  • Click on the catalog link to connect to the online library catalog.  From the screen containing the list of libraries, you must select a library. An item owned by the highlighted library will display in bold text on the Brief Record Hitlist and will be preceded by two asterisks.  The holdings of other B&ECPL libraries will appear on the Holdings Display screen. You may search the catalog by author, title, subject, keyword, and call number. Click on the Help hyperlink to locate more information on how to search the online catalog. There are also a links to the database page for searching magazine,  newspaper, and reference articles and the my account page.
  • Click on databases for a list of databases for searching magazine and newspaper articles and encyclopedia and reference databases. Access to databases will depend on individual licensing agreements. Some databases you may only use within the library.  For others, you may have to enter your library card number if you are accessing the databases from outside the library.
  • Click on my account to access information about your borrower account.
  • B&ECPL librarians have collected links to Web sites throughout the Internet that they have determined to be of value within designated subject areas.   These Web sites are located within the reference desk.
  • Click on the kids corner link for Homework Help, School Reading Lists, and Web sites for kids collected by the children's librarians at the B&ECPL.
