Will Wilder: The Relic of Perilous Falls by Raymond Arroyo

Will Wilder doesn’t mean to unlock his otherworldly gift, but that's exactly what happens when he “borrows” a sacred relic believed to have protected the town of Perilous Falls for nearly a century. Even though his intentions are good, his impulsive actions awaken an ancient evil endangering all of Perilous Falls. As boats sink and hideous creatures crawl from the rising waters, it's up to Will to confront a nightmarish enemy and set things right before it's too late. Along with his sweet — if lethal — great-aunt Lucille, the curator of a museum of supernatural artifacts, Will proves that the actions of one twelve-year-old boy can change the world.

Kid Owner by Tim Green

When Ryan’s estranged father unexpectedly dies, Ryan learns that he has inherited the Dallas Cowboys football team. With his new role as owner of this NFL team, Ryan has high hopes that he can be more than just a middle school misfit. Maybe he can even get off the bench and into the starting lineup of his own football team. With the help of his friends, Jackson and Izzy, Ryan takes advantage of his newfound stardom. But just when things are looking up, Ryan’s nasty stepmother makes a legal play to make her own son the Cowboys’ kid owner. With drama heating up both on and off the field, Ryan quickly realizes he may lose much more than just the Dallas Cowboys.

Bounders: Earth Force Rising by Monica Tesler

Thirteen years ago, Earth Force — a space-military agency — discovered a connection between brain structure and space travel. Now they’ve brought together a team of cadets, called Bounders, to be trained as elite astronauts able to pilot ships that can travel across the galaxy in an instant. Jasper Adams can’t wait to join the first class of Bounders, but soon he and his friends are forced to go up against an alien society seeking revenge on Earth Force for stealing this brain-sync technology. Will Jasper and his friends rebel against Earth Force for hiding the truth, or fulfill their duty and fight for their planet? The fate of Earth may rest on their choice.
