NEW HOURS FOR 2017!

Located on Main Street in the picturesque Village of Angola. Wheelchair accessible. Street parking and parking lot across the street available.

Public Access Computers: 9 computers,  6  laptops, networked (printing 10 cents per page B&W, 25 cents Color) Microsoft Office Applications, Internet Access, Misc. "What can I do at a Public Access Computer?"

Study Room, Copy Machine: B&W 15 cents. Color 25 cents. Fax Service available.  Radio Receiver for the visually impaired.

What's Special About the Angola Public Library?

Located just 2 miles from the shores of Lake Erie the library welcomes a large influx of summer residents.  It is the perfect place to come to check out a wide variety of books, magazine, DVD's, Blu-Rays, Audiobooks and CD's or use the computers.

We have the Angola Record, a local newspaper, from 1879-1937 on an external hard drive.

Lake Shore Central Year Books are available for in library use.

ADULT COLORING

Looking to relax after a long day? Curious about the coloring craze, but not crazy about spending money on coloring supplies? Come to the library! All supplies will be provided or you may bring your own project. Registration requested but not necessary. Call 549-1271.

    Dates are every Friday at 10:30 a.m. and every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m.

 

LEGO CLUB

Do you love to Lego?  Use your imagination to build amazing projects that are then displayed in the library.   Ages 5-13.  All supplies provided.

  • Children's Book Club: Wednesday, September 13th at 6:30 p.m.  Get excited about reading. Join our new book club for children hosted by Girl Scout Troop #30837.  This evening's book will be Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss.  Ages 5-7.  Registration required.
  • Book a Trainer:  Saturday, September 16th.   Need computer assistance?  Register for a 45 minute one-on-one session with a technology trainer. Sessions at 12, 1 & 2 PM.  Registration required.
  • Moving & Grooving with Miss Laurie:   Wednesday, September 20th at 6:30 PM.  Everyone's favorite, Miss Laurie, presents lively, entertaining programs for children.  Registration required.

  • Moving & Grooving with Miss Laurie:  Wednesday, October 4th at 6:30 PM.  Everyone's favorite, Miss Laurie, presents lively, entertaining programs for children.  Registration required.                                    
  • Evans Garden Club:  Tuesday, October 10th at 7 PM. The monthly meeting will include a program presented by Veronica Sullivan and Paul Michalec and will touch upon what's happening in our area in relation to green spaces and community gardens.
