People today use six simple machines to perform all types of task. Build a lever (catapult) and a wheel and axle (car) and learn how these machines are used in everyday life.

Thursday, July 20th, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Hidden World of the Pond presented by Beaver Meadow Audubon Center

Learn about life in a pond.  Our presenter will bring live animals such as Caddisflies, Dragonflies, Turtles, and Frogs.

Tuesday, August 1st, 5:30 - 6:30 PM - SPCA Story Time

Join us for a special story time led by a local SPCA Volunteer to learn all about animals in a creative, crafty way.

For ages 3 - 6

Thursday, August 3, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Digging Dinosaurs presented by Buffalo Museum of Science

Become paleontologists and examine the fossilized teeth, horns, and claws of various dinosaurs to learn about the unique adaptations of these ancient beasts!

For ages Pre-K - 2nd grade

Monday, August 21st, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Special Eclipse Story Time

Join us for a special story time discussing the stars and solar system including a viewing of the partial solar eclipse that will be at peak visibility at 2:30 PM.  We will read stories, do a craft, play a game and provide glasses to everyone signed up to view the eclipse with us!

Join us for a very special story time presented by WYRK DJ Clay Moden.  The library will be opening early for this special event! We will have giveaways and raffle prizes for those who attend!
