Hamburg Public Library to reopen Monday, April 27

Library Closed Since December for Expansion Project

 

The Hamburg Public Library, 102 Buffalo Street in Hamburg, reopens on Monday, April 27 at 10:00a.m. with a new 6,000 square foot addition featuring an indoor accessibility ramp, skylight, new lavatories, furniture, shelving and wall hangings. The Library has been closed since December because of the construction.

Library hours will be:

Mondays -   10:00a.m. – 9:00p.m.

Tuesdays -  1:00p.m. – 9:00p.m.

Wednesdays - 9:00a.m. – 5:00p.m.

Thursdays - 1:00p.m. -  9:00p.m.

Fridays -      9:00a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Saturdays- 9:00a.m – 5:00p.m. 

 

The $2.6 million project was funded through the New York State Public Library Construction Grant Program of the state legislature, the Town of Hamburg, and many donors from the Library’s extended community.
