WANTED! World War I Memorabilia

Letters, photos, uniforms, medals, war-related artifacts, and scrapbooks from your family’s collection that document the experiences and stories of WNYers before and during World War I (1914-1918)

We are looking for stories, items and memories for possible inclusion in an upcoming free exhibition at the Library.

Would you be willing to share them for a late 2017 exhibition at the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library?

Downtown Library, 1 Lafayette Square

The Downtown Library will be opening its next major exhibition Buffalo Never Fails: The Queen City and World War I November 2017-Spring 2019.

We will collect your contact information for future follow-up.

Items brought in will be photographed or scanned and immediately returned to you.

Free and open to the public.
