"LITERALLY SPEAKING" BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP RESUMES FOR FALL SCHEDULE

~ September Features Dan Brown's Angels and Demons ~

September 9, 2004 - Buffalo , NY - After a summer hiatus, the Central Library's next “Literally Speaking” event will take place on Tuesday, September 21 st . Downtown's lunchtime book discussion group, “Literally Speaking” meets the third Tuesday of every month from 12:10 to 1 p.m. in the library's Central Meeting Room. All are welcome, and participants are encouraged to bring their lunch to enjoy during the conversation.

This month's selection is by best-selling author of The Da Vinci Code , Dan Brown . His first novel to feature Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon , Angels and Demons follows Langdon as he searches for a secret society from the world's largest physics laboratory in Geneva to the aged catacombs and churches of Rome . Brown contrasts science and religion as well as modernity and antiquity in this thriller.

October features Bee Season (fiction, 2001) by Myla Goldberg, while Alfred Lubrano's book, Limbo: Blue-Collar Roots, White-Collar Dreams (nonfiction, 2004) will be discussed in November.
