Buffalo , NY -- The Central Library's lunchtime book discussion group, “Literally Speaking,” has released its 2006 schedule. The group meets the third Tuesday of every month from 12:10 to 1 p.m. in the library's West Room. All are welcome, and participants are encouraged to bring their lunch or purchase a meal from Fables Café to enjoy during the conversation.

The first program will take place on Tuesday, January 17th and will feature the New York Times best-seller The Kite Runner, a 2003 fiction book written by Khaled Hosseini. This award-winning work is the coming-of-age story of two boys in pre-Soviet invasion Afghanistan. Narrated by the now-adult, Amir, the story describes the friendship between Amir and his servant, Hassan.
