The Buffalo and Erie County community values its libraries. Never has the voice of advocacy for the B&ECPL been stronger. As the survival of neighborhood libraries was in question, a nearly unanimous expression of support was articulated. Persuasive public opinion convinced library officials of the esteem in which neighborhoods hold their local public library. In response, a revised strategic plan determined that all 52 sites of the System will remain open. Now the task at hand is to raise funds to ensure that quality services and adequate facilities are provided to meet the unique needs of each community.
