Darwin: The Origin of Influence (November 2009 - February 2010)

Charles Darwin is recognized as a visionary and the most important naturalist of modern science. To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the publication of Charles Darwin’s revolutionary book, On the Origin of Species, the University at Buffalo Librariesand the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library present a collaborative exhibition of rare books and archival materials which examines Darwin’s personal and scientific precedents and reveals his influence on post-Origin literary works. The Buffalo Zoo is a partner in creating the complete experience of Darwin: The Origin of Influence.
