Theme: Why Does Preservation Matter?
Monica Pellegrino Faix is Project Coordinator of the Richardson Olmsted Complex, site of the former Buffalo State Asylum for the Insane, now a National Historic Landmark. Her presentation addressed the history of the Complex, its architecture and landscape, as well as ongoing stabilization and rehabilitation efforts. The program concluded with an overview video produced for the 2012 National Preservation Conference.
