Mary Jean Jakubowksi was recently appointed Director of the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library. Her presentation reflected on the importance of libraries as the System celebrates 175 years of service. Many of the Library’s treasures were highlighted and the challenge of securing long-term financial stability was addressed.
