Theme: Imagine Buffalo Niagara in the 21st Century

R. Andrew Nixon, Executive Director of the Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau, summarized some things NOT to do as he reflected on his 20 years of experience as executive director. Differentiating a community's unique brand from the brand of other communities is a challenge faced by all communities. Chautauqua County began a program in 2010 to call itself "The World's Learning Center." All organizations serving the public are invited to promote their activities as learning experiences. A central website is available for all county participants to list their particular lifelong learning activities.
