Welcome! Novel Ideas and Encore Editions occupy a highly visible, store-front location in bright, spacious quarters just off the Central Library's main concourse. The store is open:

Novel Ideas features a wide variety of unique and affordable gift items related to libraries and literature. For children, games, puzzles, toys and jewelry featuring characters from favorite children's books are available along with apparel, mugs, canvas tote bags, posters and key chains for adults. Encore Editions offers a wide array of used books for the browser's delight. In addition to used paperback and hardcover books, the store also sells used audio, video and promotional items.
All proceeds from Novel Ideas and Encore Editions benefit the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library. The store employs two part-time staff and depends on the support and dedication of volunteers.
