In a program sponsored by the B&ECPL and the Erie
County Department of Environment and Planning, your old cell phone can mean money for new books and programs
at your local library.
Just bring your old cell phone to any of the libraries listed below, and that location will receive up to $3.00 per
phone for new programming or materials. By recycling, we keep many hazardous
wastes out of landfills, and refurbishing phones for reuse saves natural resources
and energy.
And be sure to ask your librarian how you can find out more about recycling
and the environment!
