Fundamentals of Marketing

This workshop includes an introduction to the marketing series presented by SCORE councilors with extensive marketing and planning experience and will cover: creating a Marketing Plan, and conducting customer and competitor research.
Guerilla Marketing

Steve Trincanti of SCORE will present the Seven Step Guerilla Marketing Plan featured in the best selling book by Jay Conrad Levinson. The tactics and techniques will be followed by target marketing forecasting and pricing discussions.
Marketing on the Internet
Thursday, April 17, 2008; 5:00PM to 7:00PM
Craig Chapman CEO of Rare Earth Interactive will discuss the use of the Internet in marketing information and for company/product promotions. Attendees will gain a basic understanding of the formidable power of the internet for customer communications

This workshop is a must for new business startups to learn all the elements of business management required for success. It is also very helpful for those in business that may be experiencing problems, or want to fine-tune their business for greater efficiency and success.
You will learn about marketing research, marketing, business planning, insurance, federal and state taxes, legal structures, government resources, financing, counseling and more.
Representatives from the private sector, SCORE, and government agencies will make presentations. SCORE members will be available for counseling if desired.

Free Business Counseling
SCORE continues to offers no-charge counseling sessions at SCORE’s office within the SBA (fifth floor at 130 S. Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo)
SCORE also holds counseling sessions specifically on the subject of marketing in the Buffalo & Erie County Central Library’s SCORE conference room on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30-4:30 pm. There are no charges for these counseling sessions but reservations are required. Call 716-551-4301 for appointments.
