Community History Projects - The B&ECPL has been building a “Digitized Commons” for Community History Projects through collaborative relationships with community partners. This website features the Hispanic Heritage History Project, a unique project being conducted by the Hispanic Heritage Council of WNY, Inc. to collect materials such as oral history interviews and historical photographs from community members relating to local Hispanic heritage. This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (LG-07-12-0551-12).

Digital Local History Pilot Project - View a sample of the Local History File on Flickr! The Local History File, located in the Grosvenor Room in the Central Library, is B&ECPL's most comprehensive resource on Buffalo's history. It consists of index cards with citations to articles and books about Buffalo and Erie County topics. The Richardson Olmsted Complex is featured in this pilot project. Are you knowledgeable about this landmark? Enhance the project's images by adding comments and tags.
