Located on Main Street in the picturesque Village of Angola. Wheelchair accessible. Street parking and parking lot across the street available.

Public Access Computers: 9 computers,  6  laptops, networked (printing 10 cents per page B&W, 25 cents Color) Microsoft Office Applications, Internet Access, Misc. "What can I do at a Public Access Computer?"

Study Room, Copy Machine: B&W 15 cents per page, Color 25 cents. Fax Service available.

What's Special about the Angola Public Library?

Located just 2 miles from the shores of Lake Erie the library welcomes a large influx of summer residents.  It is the perfect place to come to check out a wide variety of books, magazine, DVD's, Blu-Rays, Audiobooks and CD's or use the computers.

We have the Angola Record, a local newspaper, from 1879-1937 on an external hard drive.

Lake Shore Central Year Books are available for in library use.

Relax and unwind with other fiber art crafters. Work on unfinished projects or start a new one!
Knit, crochet, felt, make the fiber project of your dreams right here at your local library!

Please bring your own projects & supplies. Open to all ages.

1st & 3rd Mondays of every month @ 6:00pm

The Liberwyrms Book Club meets the 
first Tuesday of every month, at 10:00 AM

  • Medicare Changes Presentation: Friday, September 14th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Interested in information on changes to Medicare? Have questions about the Annual Enrollment Period? Come ask the United Healthcare representative. Refreshments will be provided.

  • Family Movie Night: Friday, September 21st at 6:00pm. Come see a FREE movie about a police dog who has to go undercover at a prestigious dog show with his human partner. Popcorn and water provided. 
  • Book-a-Trainer: Saturday, September 22nd, with sessions at 12:00, 1:00 & 2:00pm. Need computer assistance? We can help. Register for a one-on-one 45 minute session with a technology trainer on a variety of subjects. Call 549-1271 for information or to register.

  • Lego Fun Night: Monday, September 24th from 5:30-7:30pm. Drop-in any time on our lego nights! Legos provided. No registration required. Creations will be displayed in the library

Create a dragons egg and decide which dragon you'll hatch. Make and take unicorn slime. With stories, games and a dance party! Ages 3-6. Registration required.

November 2018

  • Annual Harvest Dinner: Saturday, November 3rd at 5:00pm. Join us  for a delicious turkey dinner and homemade desserts.  There will be a cash bar, basket auction, afghan raffle and live music. Proceeds benefit the Angola Library Renovation Fund. Tickets $20.00 pre-sale, $25.00 at the door. Contact the Library for more information and tickets. (716)549-1271
  • ​​Board of Trustees Meeting: Tuesday, November 6th at 6:00pm. Monthly meeting of the Angola Board of Trustees.​
  • Garden Club: Tuesday, November 13th at 7:00 pm. Monthly meeting of the local Garden Club. Open to the public.
  • Closed for Thanksgiving: The library will be closed all day Thursday, November 22nd in honor of Thanksgiving.

 

December 2018

  • Board of Trustees Meeting: Tuesday, December 4th at 6:00pm. Monthly meeting of the Angola Board of Trustees.​
  • Christmas in the Village: Saturday, December 8th. More details to come soon.
  • Graham Cracker Houses: Saturday, December 15th with sessions at 12:00pm and 1:00pm. Presented by Explore and More join us in creating your very own Graham Cracker house. Supplies provided. Please call to register, we can only take a certain amount of children.
  • Holiday Closing: The library will be closed all day Monday, December 24th, Tuesday December 25thand Wednesday December 26th in honor of the Christmas holidays.
  • New Years Eve Closing: We will be closing early, at 6:00pm Monday, December 31st, in honor of New Years Eve.
