Friends of the Library On-going Book Sale

Nearly new books donated by community members are offered for sale by the Friends of the Library on a book shelf located within the library during open library hours.

The Friends of the Library also staff a book sale room open at various times each month.

Book Room Hours:

Mondays, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Tuesdays, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Wednesdays, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Thursdays, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Fridays, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Saturdays, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (closed Saturdays in the summer)


Meets monthly on various Monday evenings, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  

All are welcome; refreshments are served.  

No registration is necessary.

Share a story with a therapy dog from the SPCA's PAWS for Love program. Reading to dogs is a fun way for children at all reading levels to practice their fluency and increase their confidence as readers.  Dogs are excellent listeners regardless of pace and content.

Register now for your 15-minute reading session.  All dogs are behavior tested and therapy certified.

Create a Mini-Comic Book/Graphic Novel

 Join Mr. David for this creative, fun, and hands-on workshop in which you will make your own mini-comic book. You will leave with a completed work that you can show off to family and friends.

School Break Movie Matinee

Friday, December 28th @ 2:00 pm

Join us for a movie about two kids who transform their principal into a superhero. The trio soon battle a deranged teacher at their school. Make a superhero mask to take home. Popcorn will be served. Bring your own water bottle. Recommended for ages 6 and up, under 6 parent must stay. No registration required.

Noon Year's Eve Party

Monday, December 31st @ 11:00 am

Make a noisemaker and a party hat, countdown to noon with "fireworks" and a super fun dance party to celebrate the new year! Light refreshments will be provided. Recommended for ages 6 and up. Under 6 welcome with parent/caregiver. Registration not required.
