Located on Buffalo Street (Route 62) between Pleasant Avenue and Union Street, this lively library is nestled in the village of Hamburg. If you are looking for a great film collection, preschool story hours or a comfortable place to catch up on the daily news, the Hamburg Public Library may be the place for you. 

Our parking lot entrance is located on Union Street near the Buffalo Street intersection.

Free WiFi. 21 public access computers plus 6 laptops that can be checked out for use within the building. Networked printing is 10¢ per page B&W and 25¢ per page color. Copy machine at 25¢ per page.

The Hamburg Library has a meeting room that can be available for community meetings. Please complete the following application and return to the main desk.

Phoebe the Reading Dog: July 14th and 28th at 9:30. Share a story with our licensed therapy dog!

Storytime at the Giving Garden: July 17th, 10. Join us in the Giving Garden at Union Pleasant Elementary for a special garden storytime and craft!

Storytime at Comfort Zone Café: July 31st, 10. The Hamburg Public Library and Comfort Zone Cafe are teaming up to bring you a storytime and craft! Stop by the counter before or after the program to check out the specials available just for program attendees!

Anti-inflammatory Diet: Prevent Common Ailments: July 17, 6:30. Inflammation is among the leading cause of today’s common ailments -- Type 2 diabetes, thyroid issues, adrenal fatigue, gastrointestinal disorders, anxiety and depression, skin conditions, obesity, fatigue, and more.You can stop inflammation before it begins, or before the symptoms appear.

What you’ll gain from this class:

• Understanding the role of inflammation in overall health and specific medical conditions.
• Identify specific foods that can increase inflammation in the body. 
• Identify specific foods that can prevent and even reverse inflammation in the body.

Keeping Your Life in Balance: July 24, 6:30. We lead very busy lives. Our schedules can make it difficult to remember to care for our bodies as a whole. We only get one body to live in, and this seminar will provide tips on how to maintain your body for a long, healthy life.

• Identify foods that can maintain health and wellness.
