The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library Announces the winner of the 20th annual Battle of the Books, teen reading competition.

Congratulations to Clarence Public Library!

Winning team members from the Clarence Public Library were:
William Wisnoski

Sophie Duquette 
Ryan Davidson
Clarence was coached by Sarah McLean-Plunkett. 

The runner-up team was Grand Island Memorial Library, coached by Marie Volpe and Stephanie Pritchard.

Battle of the Books was held earlier today at E.C.C. South.  Several hundred family, friends, elected officials and library trustees attended to cheer on their library teams!  This year, four of the event founders attended and were honored.  Photos are now posted on the Library System Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/buffalolibrary.central?ref=ts.
