Cyber Safety
A new booklet recently released by the Federal Trade Commission and other government agencies helps parents and teachers steer kids safely through the online and mobile phone worlds. Net Cetera tells parents and teachers what they need to know to talk to kids about issues like cyberbullying, sexting, mobile phone safety, and protecting the family computer.

From the Internet Education Foundation comes this site featuring an online safety guide, tools for families to guide their children online, web sites for kids, safe social networking and more.

Net Smartz
Interactive site developed for children 5 to 17 by The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America which includes definitions, real-life stories, safety tips and pledges, presentations, videos, public-service announcements, news and more. Also available in Spanish.

Protect Kids
Site on Internet safety developed by Enough is Enough, a non-profit organization dedicated to making the Internet safer for children and families. Find out about Internet dangers, child sexual abuse, youth safety rules and tools, how to report a cyber crime and many useful links for both kids and parents.
