Go Camping America
Find parks and rentals across the United States.  The site has an event calendar, tourist attractions, helpful tips, and a kid’s corner as well.

New York State Department of Environmental Conservation - Outdoor Activities
Contains information for accessible recreation, hunting, fishing, sportsman education classes, boating, camping & hiking, winter sports, and much more.

Beaver Meadow Audubon Center
324-acre nature preserve with a boardwalk trail, wooded uplands, meadows, a hawk watch, an arboretum, and eight miles of marked and groomed trails.

Buffalo Audubon Society
Buffalo Audubon Society's purpose is to develop an appreciation of the natural world by providing regional ecological education opportunities and a calendar of events.

Buffalo Ornithological Society
For those interested in birding in Western New York and Southern Ontario. Meetings and trips are open to the public unless otherwise noted.

Buffalo Kids Out and About
Search for various outdoor activities (such as cross-country skiiing) for famliy friendly locations and events around WNY.

Canalside Buffalo

The NFBC is Western New York's largest bicycle club emphasizing safe and courteous riding in an extremely social environment. and welcomes new riders! ​ Each ride varies in length from 15-100 miles with varying degrees of difficulty to challenge cyclists of all abilities and skill levels.

Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve & Environmental Education Center
292-acre complex of forests, ponds, and wetlands surrounded by suburban development. Reinstein Woods offers a variety of opportunities to explore and learn about nature for families and people of all ages.

Tift nature Preserve
A 264-acre nature refuge dedicated to conservation and environmental education in South Buffalo. Five miles of trails, guided walks, snowshoe rental. Open all year.

Visit Buffalo Niagara
Information about state parks for hiking & camping in addition to other recreational activities.

Western New York Adaptive Water Sports
"Providing water access to people of all abilities." Adaptive fishing, water skiing, sailing and SCUBA.

Western New York Mountain Biking Association
WNYMBA has  group rides and special events.  Check out the calendar for more information, or check out the lounge for group ride announcements – typically group rides are weather-dependent and are not planned far in advance.
