Have you suddenly found yourself with extra time on hands? Why not spend it exploring some new books? We have audio and ebooks that you can access from home! All you need is your library card.

Overdrive and Libby - These apps are free to use with your Buffalo and Erie County Library Card. You will have access to thousands of ebooks and audiobooks. The Libby app works on your phone or tablet to give you access to books on the go.

Need a little help? Scroll down to the end of the Overdrive and Libby webpages. In the bottom right-hand corner you will see the Overdrive logo. Click on: Get the App. Once, you’ve downloaded the app, you’re ready to go.

Now is when your library card comes into play. You will need your library card number and password to access the books electronically.  Don’t remember your password? No worries, you can reset it though your email. When you click on download, a pop-up box will prompt you for your library card number and password, just click on the ‘forgot password’ button.

Are all the copies of the book you want already in use? Place a hold and you will be contacted when it’s ready for you. The best part about online books? They will return themselves, so you don’t have to worry about leaving the house.
