Become a Volunteer!

The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System is committed to fulfilling its mission through building and strengthening relationships throughout the community.  Volunteer time, energy and goodwill are invaluable assets to our libraries. 

Volunteers come from all walks of life and can be students, adults and/or from local organizations who wish to participate in a volunteer project at their local library.

Fill out the Volunteer Application and Waiver/Release Form.

Completed applications can be submitted to any library location. 

Your completed application will be reviewed, and you will be contacted if any there are any matches to available volunteer opportunities.  You may also be asked to participate in a phone or in-person interview as part of the application process.
