Family Storytime - Choose one of three meeting times: Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays from June 3rd to June 13th at 10:30 AM. For ages birth to 5 years old. This is a 7-week session. Adult Chair Yoga - Mondays, June 9th, 16th and 23rd at 1 PM. Yoga in a chair?! Yes! You don’t need to get down on the floor to experience the benefits of yoga. This class will include both seated postures and standing postures that use a chair for support. All fitness levels are welcome. A yoga mat to place under the chair is recommended. Explanation of basic Family Court Issues such as Child Custody, Access (Visitation), Child Support, Foster Care and Juvenile Justice. New York State Website will be demonstrated for Do It Yourself (DIY) forms & information. How to proceed in Court without a lawyer. A "typical" case will be explained. This hobby provides enjoyment for humans and a vital food source for our avian friends. Did you know that bird feeders and feeding stations can be a source of illness for birds? Are you wondering if you should continue feeding the birds during the recent outbreak of H5 bird flu? Are you at risk of contracting H5 bird flu when filling the feeders? University Express: Reach Out to 911 - Wednesday, June 25th at 6:30 PM. The Reach Out to 911 program educates the public on when and how to call 9-1-1. Instructors present proper emergency response protocols, enhancing community preparedness and reducing anxiety associated with emergency calls. It also guides people on when to call 911 versus using other services like 211 (for basic needs), 988 (for people experiencing thoughts of suicide or a mental health crisis) or 1-800-222-1222 (for the Upstate New York Poison Center), helping to prevent misuse of 9-1-1 in non-emergency situations. Astronomy Night - Wednesday, July 2nd at 8:30 PM. Join Penn Dixie Fossil Park & Nature Preserve at Elma Public Library for an out-of-this-world experience! Astronomers will map the night sky for you — including stars, planets, constellations, and deep space objects — using telescopes and specialized equipment. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, warm clothing, and blankets. All ages welcome. Registration is not required.

Floss, Toss, and Catch the Tooth Fairy Boss - Wednesday, July 9th at 6 PM. For kids entering K-4th grade. The Tooth Fairy is on the loose—and we need your help to catch her! Join us for a magical STEM adventure where kids will become junior engineers, inventors, and storytellers. Using everyday materials, participants will design and build their own creative tooth fairy traps while learning the basic principles of science, technology, engineering, and math.
