Legal Seminar
Tuesday, June 23 at 1pm

Is your will at odds with your financial plan?

Attorney and financial planner Valerie Stanek will be presenting an informational seminar at Clearfield Library titled "Is your will at odds with your financial plan?"  She will discuss how financial planners and attorneys approach estate planning and how this can sometimes result in unintended consequences due to conflicting strategies.  She will also address ways to avoid these conflicts.

Tree ID with Wildwood WNY
Wednesday, July 22 (6:30-7:30pm)
Your eco explorers will become dendrologist detectives and learn how to use clues such as bark, leaves, and seeds to identify two dozen common tree species in Western New York! This program is for anyone ages 8 and up.

Arabic Calligraphy
(ages 8 to adult)
Monday, July 27 & August 3 (6-7pm)
Over the course of two classes learn about the visual language of Islamic art. Patrons will be introduced to the foundations of Arabic calligraphy including practice writing letters and simple words.

Harry Potter's Owls by Hawk Creek

What child (or adult, for that matter) has seen the Harry Potter movies and not been enchanted by the owls as they grace the screen? There’s just something about their silent flight and agility that leaves people wanting more! Here’s your chance to meet three fascinating owls firsthand and hear the lore and legend of these mysterious creatures.

This program is intended for patrons ages 8 and up.

These free 45 minute sessions are designed to assist with one-on-one technology support. Call to register for any of these classes.

There will be a volunteer computer coach at the Clearfield Library on Wednesday mornings beginning April 1 from 10:30am-12pm.  The volunteer is  available on a first come, first served basis for anyone who wants help with their computer skills, phone or tablet.  Assistance is dependent on availability of volunteers.
