The Art of America at the Turn of the 19th Century(png) Wednesday, August 19th 6:00pm-7:00pm. Presented by Roycroft Campus Director of Programming Alan Nowicki. Intro to A.I. (png) Thursday, August 20th 6:00pm-7:30pm. Please join us for a fun and informative program on artificial intelligence, taught by a real human! Learn how artificial intelligence is shaping the world and how it influences everyday life--from voice assistants to personalized recommendations. Please join us for a fun and informative book talk as author Tommy Seay Sr. shares behind-the-scenes stories from his decades as a chauffeur, driving music icons, NFL players (including the Bills), and Hollywood stars. Preschool Story Times(png). Tuesdays Aug 18, (Aug 25 will feature a guest author and craft), Sept 1, & Sept 8 from 10 am - 11 am. Preschool Story Time is designed to increase early literacy skills and promote independent thoughts and behaviors, through balanced movement and sitting activities and focused story time dialog. Itty Bitty Lap Sit & Story Times(png). Thursdays Aug 20, Aug 27, Sept 10 from 10 am - 11 am. Itty Bitty Lap Sit & Story Time is designed for newborns and babies through little ones beginning to run. Designed to introduce little ones (and their adults) to group story time and introduce basic literacy concepts. This story time will feature an interactive book, simple songs and rhymes, and gentle bounces and movements. The story time will be followed by tummy time and play time. Toddler Story Times(png). Fridays Aug 21, Aug 28, & Sept 11 from 10 am - 11 am. Toddler Story Time is a movement-based story time for naturally curious toddlers. We focus on early literacy skills through a combination of singing, dancing, play, and other movement-based activities. For ages: walking - about 3 years old. Special Author Story Time and Craft(png). Tuesday August 25 at 10 am, please join our guest author Susan Blair for a special reading of her children's picture book, The Honking Hattables! Wednesday Crafternoons in August (png): Every Wednesday in August from 10 am until 4 pm we will be learning how to make buttons with Miss Stefanie. Choose from a variety of images, or color your own unique design. Limit 3 per person, ages 3-18. There is no registration for this program.
