(SILENT) TEEN BOOK CLUB

For teens ages 13-17
Calling all teens! Join the Orchard Park Library's Teen Book Club -- we meet MONTHLY and discuss a YA title at alternating meetings!
July's meeting will be a SILENT BOOK CLUB meeting! Bring your own book to read, and at the end of the meeting stay to chat about what you're reading! :)

The Orchard Park Library accepts teen volunteers from ages 13-17. Click here to download the volunteer application. Once the application is filled out, return it to the Information Desk at the Orchard Park Library. You will be contacted by email monthly with volunteer opportunities at the library.

Orchard Park Library Spring Baby & Toddler Storytimes
Registration for the Spring Session begins Monday June 15th.
You can sign up in person or by phone. Registration will guarantee a spot for each class for the 6 week session. Storytime session will run from Monday July 6th through Friday August 14th.
Monday Baby Storytime
Mondays at 10am
Join Miss Kasey for a gentle introduction to storytime with books, songs and activities for babies 24 months & under.
Monday Toddler Storytime
Mondays at 11am
Join Miss Kasey for an introduction to storytime with books, music & movement for toddlers ages 24-36 months.
Friday Toddler Storytime
Fridays at 10am
Join Miss Sam for a gentle introduction to storytime with books, songs and activities for toddlers age 36 months & under.

Preschool (Age 3-5) Summer Storytime 2026
Tuesdays at 10am OR Thursdays at 10am
Preschool Storytime is a 6 week program on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 10am. Storytimes being Tuesday July 7th and run through Thursday August 13th. Registration begins Monday April 13th. Tuesday's session is for child and adult caregiver to attend together. Thursday's session is suited to children that are ready for more independence, and the child remains in the meeting room while the adult caregiver enjoys the Library. Please choose only one day to attend.
Read to a Dog presented by SPCA's Paws for Love
Drop in anytime 4pm-5pm, Thursdays on the following dates:

Join us for a special reading time with a certified SPCA Paws for Love dog at the Orchard Park Library! Improve literacy skills and reading confidence! Whether you'd like to read a story to a furry friend or just spend some time hanging out, everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. All ages are invited!
Saturday Morning Play at the Orchard Park Library
Saturday July 25th & August 22nd from 10:00-11:30 AM
Drop in to the library on Saturday July 25th & August 22nd from 10-11:30am for some sensory play! There will be three stations featuring Homemade Playdough Play, Mini Ice Rescue and a Shaving Cream "Carwash". Join us for some messy (but not too messy!) fun! Suggested for kids ages 2-7. Registration is not required.
Pokemon Club
Saturday July 25th from 2:00-4:00 PM
Start or continue your Pokemon journey! Share, trade, and battle with Pokemon cards! Learn how to play and build decks under the Unlimited Format. The library provides pre-built decks to play with at the program but attendees may also bring their own cards and decks from home. Open to kids in grades K-8. Paleo Art!
Thursday July 30th at 2:00 PM
Participants combine science and art with fossils from Penn Dixie to create an artist's view of an ancient environment! Participants infer what the animals at Penn Dixie may have looked like when they wre alive based on what they know about today's ocean animals. We'll work together and use our imaginations as we draw these prehistoric creatures. Best for ages 6-12. Registration is required, please call 716-662-9851 or stop in to sign up. DINOSAUR ESCAPE: AN ESCAPE ROOM EXPERIENCE
Saturday, August 8th -- Saturday, August 22nd
“Dinosaur Escape!” is an escape room experience designed in partnership with the Orchard Park Public Library’s Teen Advisory Group and will run Saturday, August 8th through Saturday, August 22nd during open library hours.
Breaking out of the Escape Room takes about 45 minutes and it’s free! Groups can be up to 6 members at a time. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult in the escape room.

Reptiles Around the World! presented by Repco Wildlife Encounters

Repco Wildlife Encounters presents Reptiles Around the World! Visit with reptiles from different continents! Meet and learn about snakes, lizards and turtles up close! This is an all ages program. Registration is required.
Orchard Park Library Presents: Family Movie Night at the Train Depot!
Thursday August 20th at 8:30PM
This year's movie will be none other than the 1999 classic film - The Iron Giant! The movie will be shown rain or shine under the awning at the Train Depot. Park in the Library Parking Lot. Light snacks will be served. Train depot restrooms will be available. Lawn chairs, blankets and bug spray are recommended. Registration is required.
