You may still get health insurance for the current year if you qualify under these 2 categories:
- There has been a significant life event like losing other coverage, getting married, moving, or having a baby.
- If you qualify for Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
The Health Insurance Marketplace is the part of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), sometimes called Obamacare. Compare health insurance plans side-by-side, choose a plan and purchase affordable health insurance that best suits your needs. Individuals buying insurance via the marketplace can receive subsidies or tax breaks.
