You can enroll at any time if:

  • You are eligible for Medicaid or Child Health Plus
  • You are an American Indian or Alaska Native
  • You experience a qualifying life event

The Health Insurance Marketplace is the part of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), sometimes called Obamacare. Compare health insurance plans side-by-side, choose a plan and purchase affordable health insurance that best suits your needs. Individuals buying insurance via the marketplace can receive subsidies or tax breaks.

New York State has its own Health Insurance Marketplace, New York State of Health.
