The West Seneca Public Library is OPEN to the public!

Masks are required for everyone ages 2 and up.  Eating and drinking is not permitted.  If you are feeling unwell, please visit us another time. You can always visit the library virtually for ebooks, databases, music downloads and more at www.buffalolib.org

    November 2021

    • Knitting & Crochet Circle- Mondays from 1:30-3:00 PM (in-person program).  Space will be limited.  Social distancing will be practiced.  Masks are required for everyone ages 2 and up.  
    • Dungeons & Dragons Club- Saturdays via Discord, 1:30 PM-3:30 PM.  For ages 12 and up.  Registration is required.  Participants must bring their own set of dice.  Masks are required for everyone ages 2 and up.  Social distancing will be practiced.  Volunteer DMs are welcome as player slots are limited by DM availability.  Please call the library at 716-674-2928, or join our Discord server, for more information.  The invitation link can be found at https://discord.gg/QYgqhgw
    • Books & Barks- Monday, November 1st at 6:00 PM (in-person program in the Library Makerspace).  Space will be limited.  Social distancing will be practiced.  Please email goodrichk@buffalolib.org to reserve your spot.  Masks are required for everyone ages 2 and up.
    • Preschool Story Time for ages 3-5 - Tuesdays November 2nd through December 28th from 5:30 - 6:15 PM. Space is limited. Registration is required. Social distancing will be practiced. Masks are required for everyone ages 2 and up.
    • Be a Library Kid for ages 6-12 - Wednesdays November 3rd through December 29th from 4:00 - 5:00 PM. Book talking, storytelling & crafting. Space is limited. Registration is required. Social distancing will be practiced. Masks are required for everyone ages 2 and up.
    • Toddler Time for ages 2-3 - Thursdays November 4th through December 30th from 10:30 - 11:00 AM.  Space is limited. Registration is required. Social distancing will be practiced. Masks are required for everyone ages 2 and up. Please note: Toddler time will not be held November 11th (Veteran's Day) & November 25th (Thanksgiving). The Library will be closed in observance of these holidays.
    • Teen Craft Night: Pinecone Turkeys- Thursday, November 18th from 5:30-7:00pm.  Create decorative turkeys out of feathers, yarn and pinecones!  Registration is required. Program is for ages 10 to 17. Masks are required for everyone ages 2 and up.  Please call 674-2928 or visit the library for more information.

    Friends of the West Seneca Public Library

    Friends of the West Seneca Public Library Membership Application

    The Friends of the West Seneca Public Library are community members with an interest in supporting the services offered by the library. The Friends also provide funding for books, programs and supplies for children and adults.  

    The Friends have an ongoing fundraiser!  Purchase a personalized, hand-carved wooden book which will be displayed in the library over the fireplace!  Full details here.

    West Seneca School Yearbook Collection

    The West Seneca Public Library now has several West Seneca school yearbooks available for in-library use.  A list of the volumes included in the collection (along with volumes that we do not yet have) can be found HERE.
