    Black and white copies are available at 15 cents per page.

    Technology: 3D Printer (Lulzbot Taz 6) available for public use, fee of $0.05 per gram finished project weight, Cricut Maker Machine: patrons must supply their own materials for Cricut projects, i.e. vinyl, cardstock, etc.

      Kids Yoga with Blue Sky Wellness

      In addition to managing stress, Yoga can benefit kids in many other capacities. Here are just a few:
      • Standing poses improve posture and strength.
      • Balancing poses improve focus, concentration, strength, coordination and poise.
      • Breathing practices are a great way to reduce stress and help with focus and concentration. They also help reduce allergy and asthmatic symptoms.
      • Meditation enhances calmness and clarity of the mind.
      • The principles of Yoga teach kids kindness, sharing, compassion, mindfulness, awareness, and much more.

      Battle of the Books Informational Meeting

      Tuesday, May 28th at 6:00 PM

      We are preparing for the 2024 season and are hosting an informational meeting on Tuesday, May 28th at 6:00 PM.  Information about this year's selections is available at https://www.buffalolib.org/books-movies-music/battle-books

      Meetings will take place in person but the final battle will be virtual like last year.  We will be answering trivia on 3 chosen titles.

      Meetings are planned for Tuesdays at 6:00 PM from June 18th through August 20th.

      Curbside/Walk-Up Services Continue to be Available:

      Call the library 716-941-3516 or email bos@buffalolib.org during open hours to request titles from items available at the Boston Free Library. Check the library's online catalog using the "Limit Search Results" selecting "Boston" to see currently available items. A staff member will record the titles requested and check them out on your library card.

      Now you can check out sports equipment through the library!

      Available kits include:

      • Kid's Sized Tennis Kits: 2 rackets and 4 tennis balls - courts open and free to use behind the Boston Town Hall and at Sprague Brook Park
      • Kid's Snowshoe Kits - perfect for a winter day at Sprague Brook or on any of the nearby trails! (Best for ages 5+).
        • Two sizes available: Small and Large Youth Sizes

      Also Kids under the age of 17 who have fees on their library card can get them removed when the sports equipment is checked out!

      * A parent or guardian must sign a waiver and be present the first time equipment is borrowed. Equipment must be borrowed from and returned to the Boston Free Library.
