Montrose Avenue runs north off Kenmore Avenue, west of Niagara Falls Blvd and east of Parkhurst Blvd.

Wheelchair accessible.

Parking lot available. 

Kenilworth has 20 Public Access Computers, two of which have scanners.

(2 Children PCs, 9 Adult PCs  7 Laptops and 2 OPACs).

Networked printing (10 cents per page for black & white, 25 cents per page for color),

Microsoft Office applications, Internet access, seating area with outlet for powering personal laptop. Free WiFi available.

 After hours book return available in parking lot.

Self Service Public Fax Machine available, 1.75 1st page, 1.00 each additional page using prepaid cards or credit/debit cards

Black and White Copier .15 per copy for 8 1/2  X 11 (letter size), .30 per copy 8 1/2 X 14 (legal size)

"What can I do at a Public Access Computer?"

A Community Room with the capacity of 30 is available for Library Programs and may be used by nonprofit organizations and groups.  A Meeting Room Application must be completed.

What's Special About the Kenilworth Library

Located on an area of land that was once part of the Kenilworth Park Race track in the early 1900’s, Montrose Avenue runs north off Kenmore Avenue, west of Niagara Falls Blvd and east of Parkhurst Blvd

Proof that good things can come in small packages, the library houses a wide array of books, magazines,   DVDs, Blu-Rays, Audiobooks and CD’s for all ages and  interests.

    The Kenilworth Library is open!  Our weekly hours are:

    Mondays & Fridays from

    12 pm -8 pm

    Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from

    10 am – 6 pm

    We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays  and  scheduled holidays

     Card Creation Station: May 3-10

    We'll have supplies out in the children's area to make a card for Mother's Day or any occassion!

    This program for children ages 5-12 is a unique opportunity to work on reading skills in a relaxed and fun environment. 
    Sign up for a 15 minute session to read to a trained therapy dog. Appointments are available between 4 - 5:30 pm

    Presented in partnership with Paws for Love, a program of the SPCA serving Erie County.


    Registrations can be made by phone during our open hours at 716-834-7657 or in person at the checkout desk.

    Brick Boxes: A take home building challenge for kids age 6-14

    Book a Technology Trainer: Presented by the Tech Know Lab of the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library

    Tuesday May 21: appointments available for 10 am, 11 am, and 12 pm

    Appointments for a 45 minute one on one technology assistance available on the hour.

    choose one of the following topics, (please note: trainers are not able to perform any repairs to hardware or troubleshoot any major software issues with personal devices)

    We offer a small selection of recently discarded library materials  for purchase in our lobby.

    All items are priced at 50 cents each

    Prices include sales tax. Cash only.  No refunds.

    Donations:

    We are currently not accepting material donations at the Kenilworth Branch.  You may be able to donate materials to the Ken-Ton friends of the Library. ) (updated 2/2/2023- The Ken-Ton friends of the Library group is currently accepting donations at it's collection site at the former Kenmore Middle School (155 Delaware Rd) on Saturdays from 10 am - 12 pm
