Montrose Avenue runs north off Kenmore Avenue, west of Niagara Falls Blvd and east of Parkhurst Blvd.

Wheelchair accessible.

Parking lot available. 

Kenilworth has 20 Public Access Computers, two of which have scanners.

(2 Children PCs, 9 Adult PCs  7 Laptops and 2 OPACs).

Networked printing (10 cents per page for black & white, 25 cents per page for color),

Microsoft Office applications, Internet access, seating area with outlet for powering personal laptop. Free WiFi available.

 After hours book return available in parking lot.

Self Service Public Fax Machine available, 1.75 1st page, 1.00 each additional page using prepaid cards or credit/debit cards

Black and White Copier .15 per copy for 8 1/2  X 11 (letter size), .30 per copy 8 1/2 X 14 (legal size)

"What can I do at a Public Access Computer?"

A Community Room with the capacity of 30 is available for Library Programs and may be used by nonprofit organizations and groups.  A Meeting Room Application must be completed.

What's Special About the Kenilworth Library

Located on an area of land that was once part of the Kenilworth Park Race track in the early 1900’s, Montrose Avenue runs north off Kenmore Avenue, west of Niagara Falls Blvd and east of Parkhurst Blvd

Proof that good things can come in small packages, the library houses a wide array of books, magazines,   DVDs, Blu-Rays, Audiobooks and CD’s for all ages and  interests.

The Kenilworth Branch is a member of the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System.

    The Kenilworth Library will be

     temporarily closed 

    for renovations to upgrade our restroom

    starting Monday April 27 2026

    Our last day of service will be 

    Friday, April 24

    The final day to pick up requested items at Kenilworth will be

     Friday, April 24 by 3 PM

    Request and Interlibrary loan items 

    will be transferred to the

    Kenmore Library at 160 Delaware Road in the Village of Kenmore (716-873-2842)

    unless otherwise requested.

    Our drop box will remain closed throughout the construction process. The Library Bookmobile will be stopping by periodically during this temporary closure.

    The renovations are expected to take a few months

    Our public Wi-Fi service is always available and the signal range extends to our parking lot and our front lawn.

    While the Kenilworth Library is closed for renovations, we’re bringing the library to you! Visit our bookmobile to browse books and movies, and enjoy free Wi-Fi access when it stops in your neighborhood.

    Please note: The Kenilworth Library building and its drop box will be unavailable during the renovation period.
