    Located at the corner of Chapel and Delaware Road, one mile south of Sheridan Drive. Wheelchair accessible. Parking lot available. 

    Public access computers: 42 public access computers (3 Children's PCs, 2 Young Adult PCs, 29 Adult PCs, 6 Laptops and 2 OPACs), networked (printing 10 cents per page for black & white, 25 cents per page for color), Microsoft Office applications, Internet access.  Free WiFi available. "What can I do at a Public Access Computer?"

    An Optalec ClearView Video Magnifier (pdf) is available in the library's magazine area on a first-come, first-serve basis.

    There are two meeting rooms at the Kenmore Library available for library programs and use by nonprofit organizations and groups. The larger room has a capacity of 47 people and the smaller room has a capacity of 25 people. Meeting rooms will be assigned for use based on availability and room capacity. A meeting room application must be completed.

    The Kenmore Library has three Study Rooms available on a first come, first served basis. Two of the study rooms can accommodate up to 5 people, and the small study room can accommodate up to 2 people.

    A Display Case is available for use by nonprofit organization and groups.  A Display Case/Exhibit Case Application must be completed.

    Copy Machine - Black and White copies are 15 cents each.

    Self Service Fax Machine -Faxes cost $1.75 for the first page and an additional $1 per page. You can use your credit or debit card or purchase a fax card at the circulation desk.

      Weekly Drop in Programs

      Stem Toy Tuesdays: Tuesdays from 4-6 pm.  Tinker with some STEM toys! Play and learn with Bee-Bots, Ozobots, Brackitz, Snap Circuits Extreme, and more! No registration is necessary. Open to ages 5-16. 

      Build-A-Button Wednesdays: Wednesdays from 5-7 pm. Make a personalized button or magnet! All supplies provided and program is for all ages. No registration necessary- drop in anytime between 5-7pm.

      Board Games All Day Saturday: Bring family or friends to the Kenmore Library, take a break from devices, and discover the good old-fashioned fun of board games! Games available for all ages. No registration necessary.

      Join us for a delightful session of singing, laughing, reading, and playing tailored just for our TWO-RRIFIC friends! This story time is designed to engage and entertain toddlers through finger plays, songs, and captivating stories. Registration required.

      The first Saturday of the month at 10 am is Crafterday at the Kenmore Library!

      On Saturday October 5, we'll make paper plate monster faces!

      Recommended for ages 5-12 (children younger than 5 can attend with a caregiver, children older than 12 can attend if interested).

      Held the 2nd Saturday of the month from 11 am - 12 pm

      Complete in our monthly challenges, or just enjoy some free building time.

      Bricks to Go!  A Take home building challenge for kids 6-14

      Can't make it to (or wait for) our next Lego Club? Try BRICKS-TO-GO! Come by the Kenmore branch library and checkout one of our BRICKS-TO-GO kits. Take it home and create your build before bringing it back to display! For kids ages 6-14. Kits are limited so stop by or call 873-2842 for details.

      Dare to Repair Cafe

      🔧 Got something broken? Don't ditch it! Dare to Repair it!

      Bring your broken items—lamps, small electronics, vacuums, toys, and more—to the Dare to Repair Cafe and let our volunteer "fixers" help you repair them for free! This community event is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill, save money, and contribute to saving the planet.

      Repair Categories Include:

      • Small appliances
      • Lamps
      • Electronics
      • Bicycles
      • Computers
      • Sewing machines
      • Clothing and textiles

      Please Note: No gas-powered items or TVs.

      Repairs are not guaranteed, and all participants will be required to sign a waiver. Not all fixers can attend every event, so registering ahead of time helps ensure we have someone who can fix your item. Replacement parts are limited, so bring any you have!

      Buffalo Banjo Band - Thursday September 26 at 6 pm

      Join us in our community room for an evening of toe-tapping tunes with the Buffalo Banjo Band.  Organized in 1967 to "pluck" your heartstrings and have you strumming along with the songs of yesteryear, and sing-alongs of old time favorites.  No registration is required- everyone is welcome!

      Choro: Upbeat Brazilian Instrumental Music from Rio De Janeiro

      Sunday, October 6. 2024 @ 1 PM

      Join classical guitar duo Stephen Guerra and Penn Watson for a musical journey through 100 years of Brazilian choro.  This lively performance will highlight the rich history of Afro-Brazilian composers.  They will introduce each song and encourage audience participation with questions throughout the event.  Open to all, no registration required.

      Kate Berberich: Writer on the Road to Happily Ever After

      Step into the world of Kate Berberich as she shares her journey of creating captivating stories (Yes there will be cats!) Discover what goes into building the fictional small town of Regency Bay and explore the behind the scenes process of writing.  From the files her editor sees to the polished novel you hold in your hand, Kate will walk you through the stages of crafting a setting for a novel.

      She'll also discuss her latest release, Falling for the Cat Guy, and give a sneak peak into her upcoming summer romance.  And don't worry-fans of Dan and Lacey will hear about their future adventures!

      Kenmore: Then and Now

      Tuesday, October 22 @ 6:30 pm

      Join the Town of Tonawanda and Village of Kenmore historian, Marjorie J. Murray, in a presentation of historical locations in Kenmore.  She'll compare them in the past to how they are now and give some historical background- a great way to celebrate the Village's 125th anniversary! No registration is necessary and all are welcome.

      Marge Murray is a lifelong resident of Kenmore.  She was appointed Kenmore's historian in the Summer of 2023, and has been a trustee for the Tonawanda Kenmore historical society since 2021.  She has been a tour docent with Buffalo Tours and Explore Buffalo since 2007, and also provides tours at the Buffalo Presidential Center.


       

      Bad Art Night 7 : Cookbook Catastrophe!

      Get ready to embrace the hilariously horrible side of creativity at our 7th installment of "Bad Art Night" - this time with a delightfully disastrous twist! This time we're diving into the culinary chaos of dusty old cookbooks.  You know the ones: recipes that look like they've been around since the dawn of gelatin, and dishes were a gherkin is the star ingredient!

      Join us for an evening of absurd artistry where our inspiration comes straight from these questionable cookbooks.  But don't worry we'll have a smorgasbord of other craft supplies on hand the fuel your wildest, wackiest, art dreams!
