  • Grand Island History including a complete run of the Grand Island Dispatch newspaper is available here.
  • Remember to look at our student's art work from the Grand Island Schools in our meeting room.
  • Be sure to view the work of many area artists on display in the library's main area.
  • The library gardens are maintained by the library caretaker and the Cinderella Isle Garden Club.  For information on the current garden, click here.

Friends of the Library On-going Book Sale

Nearly new books donated by community members are offered for sale by the Friends of the Library on a book shelf located within the library during open library hours.

The Friends of the Grand Island Memorial Library Book Store is open various hours based on volunteer availability.  

Not open? Ask at the desk and we will be glad to open it for you as long as the meeting room is not in use.
