Mission Statement

It is the plan of the Aurora Town Public Library

  • To provide an opportunity for learning, personal growth and recreation for all the people of our service area, and
  • To apply traditional expertise and changing technology for equitable access to quality library services and materials in a 21st century facility.

Strategic Plan

Friends of the Aurora Town Public Library

The Friends of the Aurora Town Public Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  They generously support and fund a variety of things for the community to enjoy at the library - from furnishings and equipment to materials and programs.  Many Friends also volunteer at the library.  Funds are raised by the Friends primarily through an annual book sale and membership drive.

  • Material (books, dvds, cds, puzzles) donations are generally accepted by Friends at the library on one Saturday per month from 10am-2pm between September and May.  Please call the library in advance at 652-4440 to verify the schedule of upcoming collection dates or for more information.
